Preeti Shenoy, 34 bubblegums, justamotheroftwo

She is a famous blogger. She is a famous author. She is a mother of 2. Ladies and Gentlemen (if there are any reading this, accidentally) let me present before you Mrs Preeti Shenoy. Writer, blogger, wife and mother. And a lot more. Shes been blogging for a long time and now entered the newspapers with her book titled “34 Bubblegums and Candies”. Now that is certainly an inspiration for fellow bloggers. Shes taken entries from her blog, and added more.

I have just read her latest post which easily became my favorite -
On Rainbows,Fairies and being a Mom

Roop Rai, another thinking blogger!

Now this is one hard-core blogger, not that others dont think. But she posts two or three entries most of the days! All thought provoking stuff, and an occasional personal/witty one. I think I stumbled upon these posts and then kept up with her.

These are some of the impressive ones I have read (means there are a lot more I haven’t read).
-> On Arranged Marriages - 1 and 2
-> On Religion
-> On prositution

Those are the serious ones, there are a few in lighter vein in between like this and this

Idling in top gear - another funny blogger

This is a blog I found sometime back and kept following. Its got 2 things that can keep me glued - language and humour. I have not read the older entries but my guess is the author chronicles about funny anecdotes from life and occasionally serious updates or musings. This is the blog post I started with. Jump in and pick any, am sure they are all interesting :-)

Blog of Prime Minister, hypothetically ofcourse!

Stumbled upon this on some random blog browsing. Ok I admit the humour tag was what took me there. But really enjoyed it. Yet to read the whole thing. But from the few I read, here is the gist of it

1. Quite brief and short posts, so you wont feel any kind of reluctance on starting them any time, cause you can finish them right away!

Salute to Mrs. Vanita Kandekar: touching post

Just read this entry and was really touched. Copying what I commented there, cause finding a shortage of words to express how it struck me.
“This was really touching. These are the people who really need talking about and writing about… cause throws us all into the light of realities while running through busy lives… completely forgetting human values and what it means to be human… Thanks for writing this. Salute to Mrs. Vanita Kandekar. ”

The simple of act of giving she does, puts all of us cribbing never-satisfied ones into a pit of shame.

This is the blog entry

Another funny blog: How to boil water!

Another funny blogger.
And another funny post. Yes yes I am biased. But humor is my line. I cant help it!
Here is this blogger’s recipe on how to boil water. I loved step 5.

Absolutely hilarious Bride-hunt stories of a blogger

I reached there from another blogger’s post. Found it absolutely hilarious and thought I will share it here. It is not nice to laugh at the misery of others, but the way he has written about a few failed marriage proposals was too good. Great language, and absolutely great humor. The links are these - link1, link2, link3 and link4

Friendship, God and religion - a blog post

This time it is about one particular post rather than the whole blog. It is one of the blogs I frequent cause I love the way she writes it.

This is about this post she made titled God. Really appealing. I am agnostic in my religous feelings, but I could appreciate the sentiments of friendship and love rising above everything else in the post and it seemed to be at the right time, with India’s 62nd independence day coming and going.

9-year old blogger! Neeru!

If I talked about kiddie blogs in the past, I am talking baby blogs now! This time the age has come down to 9! And he is the brother of the kid blogger I talked about before - Adi. His name is Neeraj, but people call him Neeru, in his house :-). Everything about him, including his baby-face photo is there in the sidebar, neatly put there. His posts are as honest as it can be and innocence seems to echo out of every word written there!

Preeti Sharma’s The Tale End Of The Stick

Ah another blog. Actually I have been stumbling upon quite a few blogs I end up adding to my Google Reader. This one, though I thought I will put it here straight away. I just found it today and there is no technicality or specification to which I can group it, its just whatever she wants to think or write about. I am putting it here, because I really enjoy reading it! I have only read a couple of her entries now but that was good enough for me. This Lady could write! Amazing language, suits me anyway. Plus in-built humor! What more do I need?
