Cris’s Book and Blog Reviews

Looks like I am doing blog reviews more now. Well naturally. It takes more time to read books! And you tend to finish your blog reviews with a few posts. Well when it is a whole blog you refer, you just want to give the idea the blogger can write well, with the evidence of a few posts. And of course there is a universal disclaimer for every reviewer - don’t hold me responsible for my reviews It is just what I felt about them. There is no guarantee you will feel the same!

Today’s Blog - pareltank

She calls herself Kochuthresiamma and the profile says she is a teacher from Cochin. I am a loser for good narration. Give me the most nonsensical story and a good narration and I will be a happy person. And Kt made me a happy person
Not that her entries are nonsensical! She talks sense most of the time; hard for a humor blogger to do that - maintain sense!
Humor comes to her like sleep does to me - both quite natural in their individual fields of expertise!

This one is for introducing a couple of blogs, which really do not need an introduction! Both are authored by kids, one of 12 and the other of 13 years old. They are doing pretty well and rightly deserve all the attention they get.

The 12 year old’s blog I chanced up on through a common friend. Here is the link to it - Adi’s Blog. He has written only a couple of entries so far but its his way of thinking and writing that makes the blog so interesting. The thoughts are a mixture of innocence and the growing self that questions everything you see and hear. I am sure he is on his way to great heights, the path to which he already is halfway through!

I just finished reading the book, “Show Business – A Novel” by Shashi Tharoor. Now before I do a Google search on the book and things I wanted to confirm, I want to give an unbiased review. Like Chetan Bhagat’s third book, I came across this book by chance. When I saw who the author was, I thought I will read it anyway. Besides it was a novel. So I was bound to follow it without a lot of hassle.

A friend of mine suggested I should try blog reviews when I came up with a book review. I did not consider my self a good reviewer, be it books or blogs. But this idea interested me, since I liked reading blogs and if it gave me one more reason, it was all the more better.
I guess I should change the caption for this blog.

All this fuss about blog reviews, because I was doing some random blog browsing today and ran into a blog, which I thought needed sharing. It is authored by Jemima Dixon, a resident of the United Kingdom and suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

I wanted to start book reviews with one of my all time favorite authors, P G Wodehouse. In another blog however, I tried doing Chetan Bhagat’s latest book. Since I have it ready I will just post it here. As for Wodehouse, it doesn’t matter where he is written about, he manages to get his importance
